Description

Curve to a sharp sword, known in Latin as Falcata Kopis in greek, widespread throughout the Mediterranean area between the sixth and third century BC, whose origin is probably Italic or Etruscan.

The model shown above is an early version, recognizable by the broad blade and fit only to hit a cut, in use between the sixth and fifth century in Italian and Greek peninsulas.

Made with steel blade and bone handle and brass-plated metal.

Total length 65 cm.
