Roman Mainz Gladius type in use between the second century BC and early first century AD This model is particularly well-decorated may have belonged to an important character as Caesar himself.

The steel blade is engraved with the characteristic shape with gold decorations along the midline.

The molten brass hilt is decorated with figures in relief and has wooden handle anatomy.
