Great helm of the XIVth century. The original, dating back about to the year 1375, is kept at the Scottish Museum in Edinburgh and it is said it belonged to sir Richard Pembridge. Used by the heavy cavalry usually worn over a mail coif. It has a slightly relieved top and the sight is allowed by two eyeslits carved out between the forhead and the face plaques where the brething holes are also made. Entirely made in handworked iron and fully wearable.
