The helmet so-called "pot" was the typical helmet used by the Knights Templar Crusaders and especially for the duration of the Crusades.

Its name comes from the shape very similar to that of a pot in turn caused by the need to provide the highest possible protection to the head. This was done so at the expense of visual acuity that was reduced to only the frontal view and this was mostly used by the cavalry in the office or in tournaments.

This model of iron is enhanced by a brass cross that was used to indicate membership of the knight army of God and a series of cross-shaped tunnels are also useful for improving the indoor air inlet helmet.
