Description

Sallet to Venetian, very widespread in the fifteenth century, worn by both infantry that riders. Derived from the pelvis, but always without camaglio.

Attached to the head marked by a rib midway between the hairline and neck. Open face "U" with additional protection of the nose front plate riveted on. Entirely made of wrought iron hand.
