Type of flail used in Europe during the XIIIth century by footsoldiers. Articulated blunt weapon carried on a staff with an high impact power, originated from the rural thresh. Handcrafted wooden shaft to which is fixed, through a metal ring put on its upper edge, an iron chain linked to a sphere, also made in forge dand handworked iron, filled with conical spikes.

Overall lenght 160 cms. Shaft lenght 120 cms.
