This wearable, fully articulated replica of late medieval plate armor is crafted from 1.2 mm (18-gauge) steel and blackened internally for enhanced corrosion protection. It protects the forearms, elbows, and arms and features the multi-layered design typical of Gothic plate armor from the late Middle Ages (15th/16th centuries).

The arm armor consists of an elbow guard, a forearm guard, and an upper arm guard. A sliding mechanism provides the necessary flexibility, with the individual sliding elements connected by sturdy steel rivets.

Three adjustable leather straps, approximately 2 mm thick, with brass buckles, are riveted to the back of each arm. This allows for easy size adjustment.

The edges are decorated with grooves and small steel rivets, and the elbow plates are equipped with flower-shaped steel discs, slightly curved inward, riveted on the sides (see also our floating discs – item number 1016634200).

These articulated arm guards are ideal for late medieval and Renaissance reenactments. They are equally suitable for portraying a variety of historical, fictional, or fantasy characters, and will perfectly complement your transformation into a proud and noble knight or warrior, whether for medieval reenactments, LARP, theater productions, TV/film, costumes, or cosplay.

The steel used is not stainless and may show slight signs of corrosion. Regular maintenance of the ballistic plates is recommended, such as with Ballistol, a universal oil excellent for preserving steel products.
