Gothic Bracers Arm guard - steel 1,5mm
Gothic Bracers with Pointed Elbow Guards, 15th Century, 1.5 mm Steel, Pair
This portable and movable replica of late medieval plate armor is based on a 15th-century German original (ca. 1465). It is made of 1.5 mm steel and blackened on the inside for improved corrosion protection. It protects the forearms, elbows, and lower arms.
The armor consists of a highly pointed elbow plate, a single-hinged forearm tube, and a riveted upper arm half-tube (also single-hinged). The three elements are connected by sturdy leather straps riveted on the inside, ensuring the necessary mobility. The upper edge of the upper arm guard features two holes for attachment to shoulder armor or a gambeson (nesting straps with brass tips are included).
These articulated arm guards are equally suitable for historical reenactment, LARPing, and costumes. They are ideal for late medieval and Renaissance settings and will make your depiction of a proud knight simply perfect!
This is a pair, meaning guards for both arms.
