Haubergeon means that it is a half-sleeved chainmail shirt that reaches approximately to the thigh.

The RRR chainmail weave: This chainmail weave consists entirely of round rings with round rivet heads. Each individual ring is riveted by hand. The weave is 4 in 1. We call this type of weave RRR (Round Ring Riveted).
