Barbute Helmet -Venetian Sallet
The Barbute Helmet, also known as the Venetian Sallet, is a helmet widely used between the 14th and 15th centuries. Characterized by a close-fitting skullcap and a typical nose guard, it was primarily intended for infantry forces.
This wearable reproduction of a Barbute Helmet is handcrafted and can be customized in size and metal thickness. The thickness can be chosen between 1.2 mm, 1.5 mm, and 2 mm, depending on your needs.
This helmet is ideal for both historical combat and reenactment, as well as for medieval performances and reenactments.
The interior of the helmet features an adjustable leather liner for a comfortable fit. It also comes with a leather chin strap with a brass buckle.
