Long Sword with scabbard SK-B
Longsword with Scabbard, for Stage Combat, SK-B
This stage combat-ready replica of a late medieval two-handed sword is entirely handcrafted. The straight crossguard and pommel are made of heat-treated, malleable cast iron. The spring steel blade, oil-hardened to approximately 48-50 HRC, extends through to the pommel and is screwed in place. The grip is wrapped with leather and wire. The blade features a pronounced fuller, which gives the sword great flexibility and lightness. The blade tip and edges are blunt and rounded.
The sword comes with a leather-covered wooden scabbard fitted with simple throat and chape plates.
This is the stage combat version of this two-handed sword. The same sword is also available in a standard version: Item No. 0116341418
