Medieval One-Handed Sword for Stage Combat, SK-B

This fully stage-combat-ready replica of a high medieval disc-pommel sword from Ulfberth® is entirely handcrafted. The proportions and dimensions are perfectly matched, resulting in an excellent grip and superb balance.

The hand-forged blade, made of 55Si7 (EN45) spring steel, is oil-hardened and tempered to approximately 48-50 HRC. It is forged through to the hilt and riveted at the end of the disc pommel. The wooden grip is wrapped in leather and encased by two grip rings. The straight crossguard is forged from steel. The blade features a pronounced fuller, which gives the sword great flexibility and lightness. The tip and edges are blunt and rounded.

The sword comes with a matching cowhide leather scabbard.
