Round Viking Shield

Round Viking Shield with Grasping Animal Motif, Hand-Painted, 61 cm Ø

This beautiful Viking shield is made of approximately 13 mm thick plywood and decorated with a hand-painted Nordic dragon or grasping animal, a recurring motif in Viking art.

The included shield boss can be easily attached to the shield with the included rivets and offers enough room for even the strongest Viking hands. The shield's edge is reinforced with metal, and the back features a solid wooden grip.

Although this wooden shield is a bit too light and thin for full contact, it is still a great accessory for reenactment, LARP, stage, or TV/film, and will perfectly complement your transformation into a proud Nordic warrior. It also makes a great collectible, display, or decorative item for any Viking enthusiast.
