medieval shoes, clogs, 1.5 mm steel, pair

During the late Middle Ages and the Renaissance, sabatons (also known as Sollerets or Solerets) were pieces of armor that covered the top and sides of the foot. They were usually worn by knights on horseback to protect their feet from enemy infantry attacks.

This portable and movable plate armor for the feet is based on models from the 14th century. The iron rails are hand-forged from 1.5mm steel, blackened on the inside for better corrosion protection and fitted with leather straps on the underside. They have no sole and consist of a pointed but slightly rounded toe, different thrusts (from the sole of the foot to the ankle), a "flap" and a heel. All elements are connected to each other with stable rivets.

This articulated armor is also suitable for shows and larps. It is ideal for late medieval settings and will make your representation of a proud knight just perfect!

It is a pair, therefore protection for both feet.
