Pappenheimer Rapier with Wire-Wrapped Grip, 104 cm
Pappenheimer Rapier with Wire-Wrapped Grip, 104 cm
This Pappenheimer-style rapier is a replica of a 17th-century original. It takes its name from Gottfried Heinrich zu Pappenheim, a renowned field marshal during the Thirty Years' War.
The sword features a slender, blunt high-carbon steel blade fitted into the characteristic basket hilt typical of Pappenheimer rapiers. The steel hand guard is lined with red velvet, while the wooden grip is tightly wrapped with wire for an authentic appearance and secure handling.
The included scabbard is made of wood and fitted with a steel throat and chape.
