Made entirely of iron and handmade with leather straps to be worn. Dimensions: 30x31x38 cm.

Basinet helmet, great head armour, developed from the visored bascinet. The iron mail aventail has been wiped out, the skull cape has been lenghtened and a fixed or mobile chin has been put on. The later models were so ample to permit the free movement of the head. Used starting from the end of the XIVth century up until the first half of the XVIth century. Entirely made in handworked iron, equipped with leather strings. Fully wearable.

Made entirely of iron, handmade with nasal riveted to the front edge and leather belts to be worn.
