Stage Combat Falchion with Leather Scabbard, SK-B
Stage Combat Falchion with Leather Scabbard, SK-B
The falchion, also known as a malchus, is a single-edged slashing weapon primarily used as a secondary weapon by archers, pikemen, and other infantry in the Late Middle Ages.
The ULFBERTH® forge offers a stage combat-ready replica that boasts an excellent price-performance ratio. The falchion features a forged, oil-hardened blade made of 55Si7 (EN45) spring steel (approximately 48-50 HRC), which extends through to the hilt and is riveted at the pommel. The wooden grip is wrapped in leather, and the elegantly shaped crossguard is hand-forged from steel. The blade edge is blunt and slightly rounded. The sword tip has also been rounded according to stage combat regulations.
This falchion is entirely handcrafted and comes with a matching leather scabbard.
