Burgonet, 17th Century, 1.6 mm Steel

A highly authentic reconstruction of a 17th-century burgonet (a type of open-faced helmet with a peak and neck guard). The original helmet is housed in the Royal Armouries in Leeds, Northern England.

The helmet (including the peak) is crafted from 1.6 mm steel. The peak is secured by forged hooks. The interior is lined with soft fabric padding.

- Size: Fits a head circumference of up to approx. 63 cm

- Long internal distance (back of head to forehead): approx. 23 cm
