Sword of Solomon
Sword inspired by Solomon, son of David, and third king of Israel in the 10th century BC
Renowned for his wisdom, he addressed his subjects to obtain objective judgment in cases of dispute.
The Sword of Solomon features a steel blade engraved with floral motifs covering one third of its length.
The guard is made of cast metal with the quillons ending in two winged cherubs, while at the center a metal plate depicts the Ark of the Covenant.
The square pommel supports a brass metal disc representing the Star of David. The handle is made of wood with a metal band in the center.
