Damascus steel Templar sword, inspired by the Spanish swords from the time of Philip II. The Templar Order was founded in 1118 to ensure the preservation of holy sites and protect pilgrimage routes. The Order reached its zenith in the thirteenth century. The Knights Templar were considered representatives of God, the honor of the Church, and Christianity. Their motto, both for battle and for every act of helping others, was: Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, SED TUO DA nomini GLORIAM. Give glory, not for us, Lord, not for us, but for your name. It was a highly organized military force and served as the vanguard in all the Crusades.
