This 15th-century English sallet is a medieval-inspired reproduction of a characteristic European helmet from the late Middle Ages. The distinctive, elongated crown and the curved shape of the lower rim give the sallet its typical late medieval silhouette.

The 1.6 mm thick steel crown has a simple, functional design. Side fastenings and the wide neck area emphasize the helmet's historical character. An integrated padded inlay ensures a more comfortable fit and allows for a better fit to the head. The leather chin strap provides additional security.

The sallet is one of the most well-known helmet styles of the 15th century and was worn by warriors and soldiers in various regions of Europe. Its closed design offered protection for the head and neck, while the open face allowed for good visibility and sufficient freedom of movement.
