Medieval shield with the end of three points and reinforced with rivets at the edge of ornament. From wield.

Made entirely by hand and brushed wrought iron.

It had structure, size and shape varied according to use and also for varied local preferences.

Medieval shield with a three-pointed top and curved lateral edges, reinforced with rivets. The background is divided in chevrons, that are transversal strips directed from right to left in one half of the shield and from left to right in the other half. Ornamental shield made of handworked burnished iron, equipped with a leather belt riveted internally to be used as grip or to exhibit it on a wall. Lenght 70 cms. Width at the top 40 cms.
