Medieval Cuisses with Poleyns

Historical reproduction of medieval cuisses with articulated poleyns and side wings, inspired by the armour worn between the late 14th century and the early 15th century. This type of leg protection, also known as part of a full leg harness, was widely used during the Late Middle Ages by both knights and lightly armoured infantry.

Each pair is entirely handcrafted in Italy by skilled armourers specializing in steelworking and the production of historical armour. The construction is fully articulated to ensure excellent freedom of movement and optimal functionality during use. The cuisses are fitted with leather straps and buckles, providing a secure and adjustable fit to the leg.
