Medieval armor made around 1440-1445 by Corio, one of the most important families of Milanese gunsmiths of the period, as well as what appears the name of John Garavalle. Now kept at the Glasgow Museums Arms and Armor collection in Scotland.


Medieval armor made of steel easy to wear and completely handmade comes with a wooden base and equipped with steel sword.


The armor is complete, dimensions: . Weight: 35 kg. The armor is designed for protection of the head, trunk, upper limbs and lower limbs.

 

The armor is composed:

- Large bascinet type helmet, combat version with face opening of T

- Gorget, neck protection.

- Left and right pauldrons, shoulder protection.

- Left and right armbands

- Two-piece gauntlets articulate left and right, metal glove

- Left and right leg guards, full leg protection, consisting of the following parts:

- thigh or bib shorts: protection of the thighs;

- knee pad: knee protection;

- strike: protection of the tibia;

- soleret: foot protection (left and right)

 

Medieval armor made of steel, handmade by artisans in Italy. Wearable armor comes with a wooden base.


Reproduction of a medieval armor, entirely handmade from a sheet of steel with a thickness between 1mm-1.2mm-1.5mm, "brushed steel".
