Miniature Guillotine - historical miniatures

Reproduction of the guillotine symbol of the French Revolution of 1792. Famous for having been used on King Louis XVI beheaded for treason against the nation and conspiracy against public liberties. Then over time it was also used in other European countries such as China, Algeria, the Principality of Monaco and almost all of Europe, including the Papal State. Deaths by decapitation by guillotine during the French Revolution are estimated at between 15,000 and 25,000 people. The last execution before being abolished in France took place on 10 September 1977 in Marseille prison.
