Byzantine Helmets played according to iconographic sources, these 10th century helmets, many Roman without cheekpieces, forged from a single piece of steel cap slightly rounded, but conical. These Byzantine helmets ending down, above the eyes and ears, with a straight line; have the particularity of a wide edge reinforcement at the level of the forehead which envelops the neck, this board is nailed to the ceiling using hemispherical rivets. Helmets with band behind the head, made up of simple leather bands or reinforced with metal plates, bands that drag to cover the neck, up to the shoulders.
All of our historical reproductions of medieval helmets are hand forged from 1 - 1.2 - 1,5 - 2 mm thick sheet metal with a "brushed steel" finish. For maximum comfort, the interior is lined with bonded fabric fleece padding. Historical reproduction of medieval combat helmets.
