Suitable for historical combat (reenactment and medieval martial arts) -

This chain mail provides full shoulder coverage and features an authentic rectangular face opening, faithfully reproducing historical designs. We recommend wearing a padded arming cap underneath the mail coif for improved comfort and protection.

The FRW weave:

This chain mail construction is made from flat mail rings, secured with wedge rivets (triangular rivets). This type of construction is characteristic of European mail armor from the Late Middle Ages.

The weave follows the traditional 4-in-1 pattern, in which each ring is interlinked with four others.

We refer to this construction as FRW (Flat Ring Wedge Rivets), meaning flat rings secured with wedge rivets.
