FRR Riveted Flat Ring Mail Coif – Square Cut – 8 mm ID – Natural Finish

This riveted flat ring mail coif is a historically accurate reproduction, ideal for historical reenactment, Living History, and stage combat. Featuring an authentic square-face cut, it provides full coverage of the head, neck, and shoulders while faithfully reproducing original medieval designs.

For greater comfort, it is recommended to wear a padded arming cap underneath the mail coif.

The FRR (Flat Ring Round Rivets) construction replicates traditional European mail made from flat rings, with each ring secured by round-headed rivets. The weave is the classic 4-in-1 European pattern, the most widely used and historically accurate construction for this type of armor.
