Typical weapon of the warriors of the Highlands since the late Middle Ages the two-handed sword known as Claymore (from the Gaelic Claideah-more = great sword) was considered a crude instrument, although effective, as one who uses it.

James I was in the late sixteenth century that made it a symbol of Scottish national pride. The sword blade was of steel, covered in leather at the top to allow you to take shots at grabbing lunge with your left hand.

The hilt is cast metal with a right arm Elso, pear-shaped pommel and grip covered in leather.
